1942 Productions is an American film and television production company founded by Aria Jaxon.
History[]
A professional wrestler by trade, Aria Jaxon's first television production venture came when former employer Elite Answers Wrestling credited her as an executive producer on True Vixens. Soon, production credits for programs such as Playmakers and Home Sweet Home followed.
When Jaxon signed with Omega Wrestling Alliance in March 2018, she continued producing programming, becoming an executive producer of Odyssey, the promotion's all-women's show, in August 2019 and being promoted to showrunner of the brand in October 2019. She took on a more heavy-handed role in additional programs after January 2019, when she was named the company's Chief Brand Officer, marking her first time holding an executive position. 1942 Productions, named for the birth year of Jaxon's late maternal great-grandmother, Drusilla Rubin, was founded in March 2019 in conjunction with the announcement that Jaxon would be executive producer of Goddesses, Inc., an MTV-backed reality show following the lives of Odyssey wrestlers. Jaxon is also credited as an executive producer for OWT Embedded, a reality show chronicling the lives of OWA's developmental wrestlers.
