Alyssa Jane O'Bryant (born March 26th 1997) is an Irish retired professional wrestler, promoter, and actress better known by her ring name Alyssa Grace. She is best known for her time in Omega Wrestling Alliance where she was a 2-time Omega Heavyweight Champion, 1-time Goddesses Champion, and former 1-time Women's Tag Team Champion with Liz Karlson. She also held the Ascension to the Heavens, which she cashed in for her first reign as Omega Heavyweight Champion. She is also a former APEX Tag Team Champion with Liz Karlson, and inaugural Pro-Wrestling SHINE World Champion. She retired from in-ring competition in 2024.

She is currently the Chief Executive Officer for the all-female wrestling promotion Valkyrie Pro, which primarily operates in the United Kingdom where she is occasionally an on-screen authority. She is also an occasional trainer at the Catch Sports Pro-Wrestling Academy in Sacramento, California owned by her boyfriend Finnegan Wakefield, and as an occasional producer with her partner for the VANGUARD Pro promotion.

Early Life.[]

Alyssa O'Bryant was born on March 26th 1997, in Bray County Wicklow Ireland to prominent business figures Sean and Jessica O'Bryant. She has an older brother, Cillian O'Bryant. She spent a large majority of her childhood in the care of her grandparents and brother due to her parent's frequent business trips. Throughout her youth, Alyssa was incredibly academic and was expected to pursue a high paying academic career, however she also participated in several sports and was captain of the women's soccer team in high-school where she later graduated with a diploma in English Literature.

Professional Wrestling Career.[]

Early Career. (2016-2019)[]

Fresh out of highschool and serious about pursuing a career in professional wrestling, Alyssa began training at her local wrestling school where she was soon scouted by Kinuko Watanabe. Soon after her 19th birthday, Alyssa moved to Japan and began training full time, debuting in a local Japanese wrestling promotion. She worked on the Japanese wrestling scene for three more years following this, picking up a few championships along the way. In late 2019, she left the independent scene and moved to Melbourne, Florida in the United States.

Omega Wrestling Alliance. (2020-)[]

At the start of 2020, Alyssa announced that she'd officially signed a contract with OWA and had been drafted to the all female brand Odyssey. On the January 18th edition of Odyssey, Alyssa made her debut, defeating La Llorona and then announcing herself as a participant in the 2020 Women's Clash of the Titans match. At the 2020 Clash of the Titans event, Grace eliminated both Selene of the Void and Sweet Roxy of the Dollhouse before being eliminated by Jonetta Stone.

On the February 15th edition of Odyssey, Alyssa faced La Llorona in a number one contendership match for the Goddess Championship in the main event of the show, the match ended in a no-contest after both women were attacked by a returning Roni Ozborn. On the February 29th edition of Odyssey, Alyssa teamed up with then OWA Women's Champion Dulce Torres to face then Goddess Champion April Song and Diantha Moreau in a losing effort in the main event, Grace was pinned after an interruption from La Llorona that went unnoticed from officials. Following the match, Alyssa engaged in a brawl with Llorona, April Song and Roni Ozborn which led to the announcement that Alyssa would be competing in a fatal four way for April's championship alongside Llorona and Ozborn at Final Destination II. Alyssa then teamed with April Song to face Roni Ozborn and La Llorona during the March 14th edition of Odyssey, Alyssa picked up the win for her team by pinning Roni Ozborn.

History Maker, Expectation Breaker: Goddesses Championship Reign.[]

On the third night of Final Destination II in the opening bout, Alyssa defeated April Song, Roni Ozborn and La Llorona by pinning La Llorona to become the new Goddesses Champion. Alyssa started season Three by debuting on Atlantis, defeating Blake Cassidy. On the 9th of May edition of Odyssey, Alyssa challenged April Song to a rematch, the conditions being Submission Counts anywhere, the first match of its kind in OWA history. On the first night of Hardcore Havoc 2020, Alyssa retained her championship, making April Song tap out in their Submission Counts anywhere match. Following this on the June 6th edition of Odyssey, Alyssa was attacked by Void member Nyx during an interview, this led to a match between Alyssa and Nyx for the title being made official on the June 20th edition of Odyssey. On that same night, Alyssa teamed with Liara Lawson to face AK47 (Revy and Mizuko Nishiyama), Alyssa picked up the win for her team despite a misunderstanding between herself and Lawson by pinning Revy. On the July 2nd edition of Atlantis, Grace defeated Nobi. On the second night of Boiling Point 2020, Alyssa defeated Nyx to retain her championship.

On the August 1st edition of Odyssey Alyssa defeated Gwen Harper, after the match a speech given by Grace was interrupted by Azumi Goto who challenged Alyssa to a match at Game Over, Grace would put her championship on the line and Goto would put her career on the line, reluctantly Alyssa accepted. Alyssa faced and defeated Hana Nakajima on the August 29th edition of Odyssey, the go home show before Game Over, after the match Alyssa was confronted by Azumi who attacked the champion from behind. In the co main event of the first day of Game Over 2020, Alyssa defeated Azumi Goto in an emotional match up to retain her championship, retiring Goto in the process.

On the 24th September edition of Atlantis, Grace teamed with Maelstrom to defeat the duo of Morrighan McDonnell and Reginald Dampshaw III. On the 52nd edition of Odyssey, in search of new title challengers, Alyssa took to the ring and issued an open challenge to "all comers". The following edition of Odyssey saw Alyssa defend her title against Hana Nakajima in the main event of the evening, Alyssa would retain her championship due to an interference from the returning Selene. Two weeks later, Alyssa would engage in a backstage brawl with Gwen Harper after demanding that Odyssey general manager, Viola DeMarco come to a final decision on who her opponent at Civil War would be. The brawl came to a halt when The Banshee interfered. As tensions grew within the division due to the uncertainty of Alyssa's Civil War opponent, a brawl between Alyssa, Rebecca Brookes, Selene, Gwen Harper, The Banshee, Morrighan McDonnell and Hana Nakajima took place on the 55th edition of Odyssey, sparking Viola DeMarco to announce a blockbuster six woman ladder match for the Goddesses Championship at Civil War. Grace faced Graham Baker on the "Get Mav Off Twitter" edition of Atlantis and suffered her first pinball defeat during her reign after Baker capitalised off the appearance of the Banshee, hitting Alyssa with "Clean The Blade" to secure the three count. On the final episode of Odyssey before Civil War, Alyssa teamed with Hana Nakajima and Gwen Harper to defeat the trio of Morrighan McDonnell, Selene and Rebecca Brookes.

During the second night of the Civil War pay per view, Alyssa found herself to be unsuccessful in her ladder match defence, at a record setting 238 days, her reign came to an end as Rebecca Brookes climbed the ladder to retrieve the Goddesses Championship.

The Road To Redemption.[]

On the first episode of Odyssey 2021, Alyssa faced and defeated long time rival, The Banshee in the main event of the evening. Shortly after the match, Alyssa would be attacked by The Banshee. Two weeks later Alyssa officially declared herself as a participant in the annual Clash Of The Titans event and would go on to enter the match last, eliminating Jonetta Stone and Gwen Harper before being eliminated by the winner of the match, Diantha Rosso. To bounce back from a personally disappointing Clash performance, Alyssa faced Dulce Torres in the main event of Odyssey LIX to qualify for the Ascension To The Heavens ladder match, the match however, was interrupted by Gwen Harper so with no clear winner it was decided the following episode that all three women would represent Odyssey in the match at Final Destination Three. Alyssa faced Gwen and Dulce in a triple threat match on the final episode of Odyssey before Final Destination, coming up short when Gwen pinned Dulce to pick up the win. On the first night of Final Destination 3, Alyssa defeated Maverick, Ryo Sakazaki, Dulce Torres, Gwen Harper, Matt Miles, and Graham Baker to win the Ascension to the Heavens Ladder match in the opening bout, making her the first woman to do so.

Personal Life.[]

Alyssa owned an apartment in Shinjuku Japan but now permanently resides in Melbourne, Florida, she's gone on record to state that adjusting to life in the States has been a lot easier than she expected. She is bilingual, fluent in both English and Japanese and is able to understand the basics of the Gaelic language. Due to her years in Japan, Alyssa has basic knowledge of Japanese Jiu-Jitsu. Alyssa enjoys reading, her favourite book series being Harry Potter where she takes some inspiration from, she also draws inspiration from a variety of pop culture related media, video games and music, she can play both the bass and acoustic guitar but isn't much of a singer. She identifies as a bisexual, nondenominational Christian, getting the "Grace" aspect of her ring name from her religion.

In October 2020, Alyssa entered a relationship with fellow professional wrestler Finnegan Wakefield, the two are currently together and when asked about how the couple came to be Alyssa has stated that it "occurred in a very natural manner, we became good friends after appreciating one another's work and then things blossomed from there" She has been very vocal about her appreciation for him and how happy she feels in the relationship.

In early 2020, Alyssa's father passed away and despite their relationship being slightly rocky in the last few years of his life, Alyssa has a small tattoo of a blue canary with the quotation "the sun will rise and we will try again" on the side of her wrist in memory. Alyssa is known for expressing herself in vibrant, non-conventional ways, one of these being her hair colour. Growing up, Grace was a mixture between a blonde and a brunette but she now regularly dyes her hair a bright orange shade.
