Goddesses, Inc. is an upcoming American reality television series slated to premiere in 2019 on MTV. The series gives viewers an inside look into the personal lives of female wrestlers employed by the Omega Wrestling Alliance, referred to as "Goddesses". Episodes will also be available on OWA's over-the-top streaming service, the OWA Network.
Production and Casting[]
The Omega Wrestling Alliance is an American professional wrestling promotion based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. From its founding in early 2018, the promotion has been noted for the emphasis placed on spotlighting the company's female wrestlers, with the first match ever contested on the company's flagship show, Kingdom, being a women's match. In short order, the division was regularly main eventing weekly shows and putting on lauded pay-per-view matches.
In September 2018, Odyssey, an all-women's weekly show premiered, further continuing to give the women their own niche to shine.
MTV ordered a full-season order of the then-unnamed reality program focusing on the lives of OWA Goddesses in January 2019. Goddesses, Inc. was announced on March 16, 2019, during a commercial aired along with Pluto's Gate.
Unlike other OWA programming, which is scripted, those who appear on Goddesses, Inc. use their real names, as opposed to their real names.
