Reginald Dampshaw III is an English born wrestler. He is currently signed to Omega Wrestling Alliance and Wrestleworld. He is currently one half of the OWA World Tag Team Champions with Miltiades. Reginald is also a former OWA Spartan Champion and was one half of the Rebellion Pro New Atlantic Tag Team Champions (alongside Adelmar Sauer) before the company closed down. He also had a stint in the now defunct Controversial Wrestling Federation where he was a former one time International Champion.
Controversial Wrestling Federation (2013)[]
Reginald Dampshaw III made his professional wrestling debut after weeks of vignettes, interrupting an episode of Controversy to call out CWF mainstay Ryan Ramone. He later went on to feud with Ramone, CWF legend Kris Style and Zach Bryant, to name a few.
International Champion[]
Reginald's biggest success in CWF came when he defeated Cecil Massie in a ladder match at CWF Supremacy 2013 to end Massie's record breaking 330 day reign as International Champion. Reginald held the belt for 2 months before being defeated by Shujinko Hamaski. Reginald left the CWF shortly after.
MERGE (2014)[]
Reginald returned to the CWF almost half a year later, but it was going a drastic change. Hit by roster shortages, the CWF merged with rival promotion CEW to create a new brand, hence the name MERGE. Run by Ryan Ramone and his tag team partner Xarlos Angeles, Dampshaw was one of the first men targeted by Ramone and Xarlos' wrath due to Reginald being an old foe of Ramone and he soon entered into a feud with Xarlos.
Alliance with Demis Polymeros[]
To help make things even, Reginald brought in Demis Polymeros, a young man from Greece who's family was financially helped by the Dampshaw's. Polymeros was one of the biggest men in all of MERGE, standing in at almost 7 feet tall and over 300 pounds. The duo of Dampshaw and Polymeros proved successful as they both entered into the first ever Keys To The Kingdom match. a cell/ladder hybrid match where the winner must retrieve a contract from a ladder. Polymeros eliminated everyone from the match, including his feud partner, Bionic Redneck with a Shooting Star Legdrop from the top of the cage, and then laid down, allowing Dampshaw to retrieve the contract. Inside the contract was a favour from Ramone and Xarlos, and Dampshaw used it to be granted him and Polymeros a MERGE Tag Team Championship shot, but this was never granted as MERGE shut down soon after that.
Elite Answers Wrestling (2017-2018)[]
On June 3rd, 2017, Reginald and Elite Answers Wrestling came to terms on a contract, making him exclusive property to EWA. He debuted at a press conference on July 16th, being placed in the returning NEO brand and announcing that he was taking part in the EVO Series Tournament. On the August 9th episode of NEO, Reginald defeated New Breed Champion Moongoose McQueen in an EVO Series Block A match. On the September 1st episode of NEO,in the semifinal match of the A block of the EVO Series, Reginald defeated Finnegan Wakefield to advance to the finals, facing the winner of Brayden Wolfe and Ryan Wilson at Uprising: Los Angeles on September 23rd. It was also announced that same night that Dampshaw was being called up from NEO to the main roster and would be drafted to the Dynasty Brand, after Uprising: Los Angeles.
The finals of the EVO Series was pushed forward to an episode of NEO and Reginald faced off against Brayden Wolfe. Wolfe defeated Reginald in the finals to be the EVO winner.
After impressing on the Dynasty Brand, Reginald was announced to be added to the Glass Gauntlet Match at House of Glass for the no. 1 contendership for the EAW Hardcore Championship. He faced Brayden Wolfe, Target Smiles, Ryan Savage, The Mexican Samurai, Hurricane Hawk and Ahren Fournier. Reginald's methods during the match was to go on commentary and stay there until the majority of the entrants were out on their feet. This method was not successful however, as Brayden Wolfe attacked Crichton, giving him a death valley driver to send a message to Reginald. Ahren Fournier pinned Ryan Savage to win the match. Reginald was never pinned in the match.
Reginald's lack of success and opportunities in EAW led him to become very irrational and unreliable. He was booked in a match against Carlos Rosso for the EAW Answers World Championship at Culture Crisis in May, but Reginald was defeated in mere seconds. After this match, it was announced that Reginald had been released from his EAW contract.
Hiatus and involuntary institualization (May-August 2018)[]
After being released from EAW, family and friends began worrying about Reginald who was showing signs of a mental breakdown. Though he was always prone to fits of violence, he began exhibiting much more sadistic behaviour. Coupled with him beginning to speak of voices of his ancestors and hurting himself, Crichton Merriweather decided there was no choice but to institutionalize Reginald and contacted the authorities. Reginald was then involuntarily placed into the infamous Broadmoor Hospital. He was placed there for 3 months before being released after they no longer wanted him there. While there, he constantly attacked guards and other patients. It was said that he actually bit off the nose of one of the doctors there. The only reason he was not placed in jail after being released were due to rumours of the Dampshaw family paying off the courts.
Return to wrestling, Omega Wrestling Alliance (September 2018-Present)[]
While still in Broadmoor, Reginald continued training and working out. His training regiment consisted less of the technical wrestling he was known (for obvious reasons) and more on bare knuckle boxing, weightlifting and unorthodox methods like punching cement walls to strengthen his hands to chasing guards and fellow patients around for cardio.
It was then announced in September that Reginald had signed a contract with Omega Wrestling Alliance and would be performing on their Kingdom brand. Reginald's debut match was a losing effort in October against fellow Englishman "Sovereign" Jon McAdams.
Spartan Championship Match Against Layne Kurobane[]
On December 16th, during the main event of Kingdom, Reginald faced Layne Kurobane for the Spartan Championship. In what was considered a Match of the Year candidate, Reginald came close to putting the Spartan Champion away, but ultimately, Kurobane successfully defended his championship. While Reginald ended up on the losing side, he impressed many people, OWA officials included, taking Kurobane to the limit many times during the match. The match was voted Match of the Week on the 23rd edition of the Omega Awards.
First PPV Match; Keys To The Kingdom (Early 2019)[]
After his impressive showing in the Spartan Championship match against Layne Kurobane, Reginald's stock in OWA rose to where he was showcased in higher profile matches. On the January 4th episode of Kingdom, Reginald was involved in a tag team match, teaming up with Aria Jaxon against Scott Oasis and Moongoose McQueen. Reginald and Aria lost the match and Reginald went on record saying he was disgusted at the idea of having to team with a woman and that it was her fault for their loss due to her being of the weaker sex. This match was ahead of the Clash of The Titans PPV, including the match of the same name in which all 4 competitors were a part of. This would be Reginald's debut PPV performance as a part of the OWA roster, entering in at number 22. Reginald lasted more than 10 minutes before being eliminated by Gareth Cason. The day after the event, Reginald claimed that it was not him eliminated in the match, but one of his ancestors, Alfred and therefore he was the rightful winner of the match, not Aria Jaxon. He demanded that Kingdom GM Vernon Tressler name him the proper winner and give him his World Championship shot at Final Destination. Tressler stated that he was in no way humouring Reginald's request but letting him know that he along with newcomer Adlemar Sauer, Jeff X, Hans Olsen, Alex Scott and Donny Dragon would be facing off at Kingdom's Divine Retribution PPV in a brand new match called Keys to The Kingdom. The match was a six-pack match with the first man scoring the pinfall or submission getting the win. Dampshaw was very impressive in the match, even picking the 300+ pound Adelmar Sauer up for the Family Name and almost scoring the pin, but it was broken up by Hans Olsen. Jeff eventually left the victor, leaving Dampshaw with the feeling that Jeff stole his victory and promising to make Jeff pay for it.
Final Destination, The New Dawn, reemergence of Demis Polymeros & 2nd Spartan Championship Shot (March-December 2019)[]
While still reeling from his loss at Divine Retribution, Reginald started March off on the right foot. On the March 10th edition of Kingdom, Reginald faced off with Jon McAdams, defeating him. Reginald felt it poetic, saying it was meant to be him getting revenge on the man who beat him in his OWA debut. After his victory over McAdams, Reginald said his win had more negative effect on McAdams' psyche and confidence than his loss to Aria Jaxon at Divine Retribution. He was convinced that this loss would end McAdams' career, causing him to be so distraught and embarrassed that he wouldn't want to be seen in OWA again. This, coupled with him still believing that he was never eliminated at Clash of The Titans, Reginald was even more vigilante in saying he deserved to be in the main event of Final Destination.
When the card for Final Destination was announced, Reginald was angered that not only was he not placed in the main event, but furious that he was being placed in the pre-show, being a member of the Final Destination Battle Royale. His already well documented fractured mental state further deteriorated and he began speaking of an unknown movement called "The New Dawn". The New Dawn, Reginald said, was the beginning of a new order in the world, with Reginald being at the forefront at it. Being in the battle royale, according to Reginald, gave him the power to "purify" his opponents. In his mind, eliminating the rest of the competition would rid them of their previous fears, anxieties, troubles and woes and allow them to fully open their minds and hearts, allowing them to submit to The New Dawn. In the match, Reginald specifically targeted Hans Olsen, Udy and Adelmar Sauer for different reasons. Reginald and Jake Keeton were the final two men in the battle royale and Reginald took advantage of Keeton eliminating Udy while on the apron. Reginald hit Keeton with a knee to the back, sending Keeton flying to the outside, winning the match. Reginald emerged from the match with his delusions of grandeur and God complex at an all time high, proclaiming and proselytizing that The New Dawn had finally arrived. On the May 29th edition of Kingdom, Reginald said that the men he purged either ran away to other brands or disappeared from the company all together. He then announced that due to winning the Final Destination Battle Royale, he was awarded a future Spartan Championship opportunity. While he was confident in his abilities to become Spartan Champion, Reginald wasn't happy with just one title. Saying that the material binds of brands or weight classes mean nothing to him, he declared that with one fell swoop, he could win every championship, even if that means teaming up with someone for the Tag Championships.
The following Kingdom, Reginald teamed with his former opponent, Adelmar Sauer to take on the Bollywood World Order. Reginald and Adelmar defeated them quickly in the match, in mere minutes. It was then announced shortly after that Reginald and Adelmar would be the first team entered into the OWA Artemis and Apollo Tag Team Classic. Reginald declared that Adelmar was the perfect partner for him, possessing the rare combination of brute strength, agility and ring intelligence and that even when they fought each other, he always respected him. Reginald admitted that Adelmar was one of the few men in OWA who Reginald didn't mind losing to, because he knew Adelmar actually was the better man. They were dubbed The European Union by OWA, though Reginald does not recognize this name as official. After defeating The Boys, it was announced that they would be facing Ground Zero and Nobi & Hans Olsen in a Triple Threat Tag Team Match at OWA Boiling Point.
Questions about Adelmar's loyalty began being brought up and while at first Reginald ignored it, he also began questioning not only Adelmar's loyalty and dedication to The New Dawn, but also his fighting spirit. When Lieta Collins ran in after a match and attacked Adelmar's ankle, this was the last straw. While Reginald kept up appearances and assured everyone was ok in his camp, really he was disgusted that Adelmar allowed a woman to attack him. Up until Boiling Point,
Adelmar was still scheduled to wrestle with Reginald but during the event, Reginald came out and announced that Adelmar was gone and in his place, he was bringing back Demis Polymeros who Reginald left back in Greece years prior. While Demis was still angry and hurt by Reginald leaving him, he swore a life debt to his family from the time of his childhood. Reginald and Demis were not successful at Boiling Point, but at a post conference interview, Reginald wasn't phased by his loss, saying he was too happy at Demis' debut in OWA and, what he said, was the final piece of the puzzle to The New Dawn.
After the press conference, Scott Oasis was impressed with Reginald's ambition and announced that Reginald would be the next in line for a shot at Jeff X's Spartan Championship. On the August 11th edition of Kingdom, Reginald wrestled Jeff in a non title match where Reginald took advantage of a distraction by Miltiades and roll Jeff up for the win. This was all Reginald needed as he declared that his losses against Jeff would never happen again.
While this was happening, Reginald was announced to be a part of the OWA Challenge Cup, a round robin tournament with 4 blocks. Reginald was placed in the A block, ironically, along with Jeff X. Reginald began the tournament by winning 3 points after defeating OWT competitor Erufuji. Reginald went on to remain undefeated at 9 points before losing to both Jeff X and April Song and being eliminated from the tournament.
After being eliminated from the tournament, Reginald was pitted against Carlos Rosso. Reginald saw this as his way of redeeming himself after being place in the main event of EAW's Culture Crisis one year prior, where Carlos defeated him in mere seconds. Though Carlos was in control for most of the match, Reginald reversed Carlos' patented Southern Lariat into an Osaka Stunner for the win. Not only was Reginald absolved from the embarrassment of their previous encounter, but the win granted Reginald entry into the God of War Tournament.
Reginald was set to face Moongoose McQueen in the God of War Semifinals of Game Over, but before that, he interfered with Moongoose's match against Demis Polymeros, allowing Demis to score the win in his OWA debut. At Game Over, Moongoose and Reginald wrestled each other to the limit. Both men were left exhausted, but it was Moongoose who came out on top. Thought Reginald wouldn't be going on to the finals for a possible world championship shot, he still had his Spartan's Championship opportunity in his back pocket.
On the October 6th edition of Kingdom, Jeff X called out Layne Kurobane to face him ahead of his Triple Threat match at Civil War. The lights went out but instead of Kurobane, it was Reginald who smashed Jeff in the head with a steel chair, causing Jeff to begin to bleed. He told Jeff not to be so preoccupied with Layne or Roni Osborn, the third competitor in the Triple Threat Match, because after Civil War, Jeff would have to deal with him. Similar to his blindside on Kingdom, after Jeff's victory at Civil War during the post show press conference, Reginald once again attacked Jeff and once again busted him open, officially declaring that he was cashing in his Spartan's Championship opportunity. Reginald was placed in a match against OWA veteran CM Nas on the November 17th edition of Kingdom. Jeff X was so sure that Reginald would lose that he said that if Reginald was somehow able to come out on top, then he could choose the stipulation for their Spartan Championship match at Hardcore Havoc. At the end of the match, the newly returned Havoc came out and while the lights in the arena were out, attacked Nas, allowing Reginald to pin him and score the victory.
The next week on the December 1st episode of Kingdom, Reginald announced that his match against Jeff X would be a Lumberjack Match. At Hardcore Havoc, after smashing a beer bottle to Jeff X's face, Reginald pinned Jeff and became the new OWA Spartan Champion.
Spartan Champion (January-April 2020)[]
After defeating Jeff X at Hardcore Havoc to become the 5th OWA Spartan Champion, Reginald soundly defeated Kyle on the January 5th and afterwards, announced himself into the 2020 Clash of The Titans, declaring that he would win the match, go to Final Destination and become dual champion. Reginald entered at no. 29 during the Clash and made his presence felt right away, eliminating his former rival Layne Kurobane. Reginald was part of the final eight men in the Clash but was finally eliminated by Havoc. Reginald got his momentum back up by soundly defeating the first Spartan Champion, a returning Scotty Adams in mere moments after Demis brutalized him on the outside. Reginald angered the fans and even the announcers at ringside by licking the blood off of an unconscious Adams. The next week on Kingdom, Reginald soundly defeated Hayden Cross with the outside help of Demis. Demis once again bloodied another of Reginald's opponents and after the match, Reginald looked to repeat his actions by attacking Cross after the match, but was interrupted by Keys to The Kingdom winner Arata Asakura. Reginald was incensed at Arata's interference and also confused as Hayden had previously attacked Arata's trainees at his dojo in his Japan for taking his Keys to The Kingdom. Reginald couldn't fathom why Arata would want to help him and chalked it down to Arata being weak willed. When it was announced that Reginald would be facing Arata on the next Kingdom, Reginald was sure he would make quick work of him like his previous two opponents. However, Arata was able to overcome both Reginald and Demis' interference and pick up the win and after the match, he announced that he would be cashing in his Keys To The Kingdom against Reginald for his Spartan Championship at Final Destination 2. Arata vs. Reginald for the Spartan Championship was the opening contest on Night 1 of FD 2 and while both men looked to have it won multiple times, Arata ultimately came out on top, stripping Reginald of the championship.
Former Champion; OWA's "Quality Control" and "Shogun" Reginald (May-December 2020)[]
Reginald was not heard much from after losing at Final Destination 2. His first was seen in a backstage segment during Season 3's Shake Up, threatening Aria Jaxon to take her newly won 24/7 title, and then later on in the night, before a Six Pack challenge match focusing on OWA's newest signees, Reginald attacked Gavin McArdle during his entrance, causing Gavin to be taken out of the match. It was then announced Reginald would be staying on Kingdom. During the May 7th edition of Atlantis, after a match between Keelan Callihan and rookie Thomas Galloway, Reginald and Demis stormed the ring and laid Galloway out. Reginald got on the microphone and declared that none of OWA's new signees were worthy of sharing the ring with him. He was then confronted by Curze, who Reginald was set to face on the May 10th edition of Kingdom. This attention on cleaning up the unworthy caused Kingdom's commentary team to dub Reginald OWA's "Quality Control". The matchup against Curze was a completely one-sided affair, with Reginald getting all of the offense in before making the referee call off the match after Reginald brutalized Curze with the Cracking The Throne.
OWA announced that the week of Hardcore Havoc, the following Atlantis would be the start of a bimonthly string of special episodes that will coincide with the Pay-Per-Views. Given the talent that OWA has on it's rosters, these Atlantis’ will be designed and treated like extensions of these major events in terms of quality and importance. They then announced Atlantis Presents: The Countdown to Havoc which would include Reginald Dampshaw III vs. Finnegan Wakefield. Reginald and Finnegan wrestled almost to a 15 minute draw, but Reginald was defeated after passing out in pain after Finnegan locked him in the Wakefield Special III. Reginald said he would rather be rendered unconscious than "submit to scum". The next Kingdom, Reginald would face off against his own rival Ryan Ramone, now known as J.D. Damon. Damon was different than when Reginald previously knew him in CWF, becoming a co-founder of Wolvesden and an integral part of EAW and OWA. More skilled and wiser, Reginald saw Damon as a formidable foe, but one that still owed him a penance from their CWF/MERGE days. Both men looked to renew their old rivalry by leaving it all in the ring. Damon looked to put things away with a Fall From Grace, but Reginald got his knees up and from there, finished Damon off for the victory. Later on that night, Reginald attacked a developmental wrestler outside of Scott Oasis' office and explained his actions in the past few months directly to the COO. Kingdom GM Jon McAdams then came in demanding Reginald stop attacking new Kingdom recruits. McAdams was sure Oasis would make Reginald accountable for his actions, but instead he declared Reginald a new member of his Big Oasis Brand and that Reginald would be working, under advisement, as McAdams' second in command. Jon was then given the next Kingdom off.
With Reginald in charge on the June 21st episode of Kingdom, his first order was breaking up the potential brawl between newly christened Ashes of The Wake (Havoc, Jacob Knight, Vincent & Maverick) and Arata Asakura & Jeff X. Later on in the night, Reginald spoke to Jon McAdams over video chat and assured him that the rest of the show would go off without a hitch. After the conversation was over, newly signed wrestler Oliver Harpe came into the office and introduced himself to Reginald. Reginald recognized him as a former criminal and Oliver explained he came to OWA as "hired" problem solver. He understood Reginald has problems with people disrespecting The New Dawn and insinuated that he could help for a price. Reginald told him he wouldn't speak with him while he was on the clock. The main event for the evening was Jeff X vs. Michael Bishop with the winner receiving a spot in the OWA Championship Steel Asylum match at Boiling Point. Havoc interfered, hitting Bishop in the throat with a baseball bat, causing the disqualification win and allowing Bishop to secure a spot at Boiling Point. The Ashes of The Wake then attacked both Bishop and Jeff before Arata and Aria Jaxon ran in for the save. After the brawl, Bishop demanded the match be restarted as, even though he won, he didn't want a tainted win. McAdams came on the titantron to make a decision before his feed cut out to show Reginald back in his office. He announced that Bishop's win would stand. He then surprised everyone by declaring that because Jeff was impressive and the match ended the way he did, Jeff would also qualify to the match. The match would be Moongoose McQueen defending his championship against Michael Bishop, Jeff X, Aria Jaxon, Havoc and a sixth competitor. The match was originally only supposed to be 5 competitors. Reginald said it was obvious who the sixth man was and everyone expected it to be Arata, only for Reginald to announce himself as the sixth man. To add insult to injury, Reginald mocked Arata losing his Shogun Championship to Jacob Senn in Wrestleworld and dubbed himself "Shogun" Reginald. It was announced during Night Two of Boiling Point that McAdams was found unresponsive in his hotel room before the PPV. It appeared that he was brutally attacked and would need to be absent from television for the next few weeks, thus Reginald was announced as leading GM in his place. Heading into the main event with new momentum and confidence, Reginald entered the asylum in dramatic fashion, coming out with nurses and tied up to a gurney before attacking the nurses and hopping into the structure. The hardcore environment suited Reginald as he used the asylum to his advantage, including throwing Havoc off of the steel wall with the Isle of Plight, hitting Jeff and Havoc over the head with brass knuckles and hitting the Family Name on Jeff before punting him in the head. Also near the second half of the match, Reginald hit Bishop with another shot of his brass knuckles and performed The Family Name on him by kicking off of the steel asylum structure and flipping over, using his momentum to add extra torque to the move. Though Reginald was impressive in the match, ultimately it was interference by Shin-SEKAI and Revy lighting off a flashbang, blinding everyone in the match except Moongoose, who knew it was coming and covered his eyes. This allowed him to climb and escape the asylum with the aid of Shin-SEKAI, thus retaining the OWA World Championship.
On the Kingdom following Boiling Point and the first Kingdom of Reginald's full reign as GM, he came out to an extremely hostile reception from the Mexico City crowd, including having a bottle of Mondello thrown at his head. Reginald attempted to explain his new vision for Kingdom, but was interrupted by The Ashes of The Wake, the Kingdom Frontline and then Shin-SEKAI. Angered by the intrusions, Reginald told all the men in the ring that if they began fighting with each other and held a championship, they'd be instantly stripped of the belts. He then made a matchup of Michael Bishop vs. Stephanie Matsuda and told Bishop to rid Kingdom of Stephanie. The match took place and while Matsuda got the victory, it was due to Aria Jaxon getting involved, causing Reginald to come out and say that victories by interference were not going to fly under his regime and called for the match to be restarted. With the match on once again, Bishop sealed the victory. Reginald returned for the main event of Jeff X vs. Moongoose in a lumberjack match to ensure everything went smoothly. Newly signed competitor Theodor Pavel was the first lumberjack to come down and Reginald offered a handshake and a place by his side during the match. As all the competitors and lumberjacks came down the ramp, Reginald made sure each faction were separated from each other to make sure no outside fighting or interference took place, but the match soon devolved into chaos as all of the groups eventually got involved. Revy once again lit off a flashbang but this time it backfired on Moongoose as Jeff was ready for it, hit him with an X-Crusher and won the match. Before the episode went off the air, footage showed Oliver Harpe meeting in a parking lot with Demis Polymeros where they exchanged a briefcase full of cash. The next Kingdom, Reginald was in action facing Ashes member Maverick. The contest was back and forth and it looked like Reginald had the upper hand, but at the end of the match, the lights went out and on the ramp stood Havoc, burning an effigy of Reginald, which caused the distraction, allowing Maverick to take advantage and pin Reginald for the win.
During this time, Reginald also appeared on Atlantis in action. In July he teamed with Jonetta Stone in a winning effort against Devi Krysis and Jacob Nighttime and he also defeated Liara Lawson in singles action and on the August 27th episode, he teamed with former rival Jeff X to take on Baba Yaga and Stark. Stark no-showed the match which allowed Reginald and Jeff to take advantage of Yaga for the win. After the match, Reginald was interviewed by roaming reporter Hugh Jass about Havoc's effigy burning. Reginald made his intentions clear that he wasn't going to be intimidated by Havoc or put up with The Ashes' antics any longer and that all members of the faction were fired from Kingdom. Before he could walk backstage, however, OWA COO Scott Oasis came out and told Reginald that Havoc and The Ashes were too hot of commodities for Kingdom to just be fired and for Reginald to come and talk to him. The next episode of Kingdom opened with Reginald and Oasis in the ring to talk about what they discussed privately after Atlantis but before they could, Havoc came and interrupted. Havoc and Reginald got into each other's face which caused Oasis to get involved and say if they wanted to beat each other so bad, they would be facing each other one on one at Game Over. Reginald appeared satisfied by the match until Oasis added the stipulation that the winner would be the General Manager of Kingdom. Reginald was livid, but tried to act professional towards Oasis while Havoc looked on laughing wickedly.
Reginald attempted to contact Oasis to convince him to remove the GM stipulation from the match, showing Scott how ratings since becoming General Manager have skyrocketed, but to no avail. Reginald was left with the possibility of not only losing a high profile match on PPV, but also losing his position of power within OWA. At Game Over, before the match began, Reginald changed the rules so the match would be No Disqualifications but only for him and that he could because he was Kingdom General Manager. Reginald could use any outside weapons he wanted, but if Havoc did so, he would lose the match. Scott Oasis who was on commentary, allowed it to happen. Reginald and Havoc fought equally until Reginald brandished a knife from under the ring. He began slashing at Havoc's legs and screamed at him to forfeit the match and allow Reginald to keep his GM status. When Havoc continued to attack, Reginald slashed again, this time at Havoc's arms. It was noticeable that Havoc was being affected more severely from the slashes that normal and when Havoc began acting sluggish, Reginald revealed that he laced the knife with a tranquilizer. Just when it seemed like Reginald would pin a paralyzed Havoc, the lights went out. When they came back on, Udy was seen standing next to Reginald in the ring. The two men wrestled with the knife until Reginald tripped and cut himself on the cheek. Both Dampshaw and Havoc were now paralyzed but Havoc could be seen smiling and nodding towards Udy. It appeared that Udy was going to roll Havoc's body over Reginald's to secure Havoc the win, but in the process, fell on the mat and drove the knife into Havoc's shoulder. After Udy was escorted out of the ring, Reginald squirmed and crawled onto Havoc's body for the pin and the win.
That same night, Jeff X became OWA World Champion after defeating Moongoose McQueen, but Havoc recovered from the tranquilizer and cashed his Ascension of the Heavens briefcase on Jeff with the seemingly supernatural powers of his new companion Abholos and left as the new champion. The Kingdom following the PPV, Reginald confronted Havoc congratulating him for becoming champion, but assuring Havoc that he was still wrestling under his rule and that Reginald would make sure to make his reign a living hell. Havoc merely laughed and brushed this off saying the only reason Reginald was GM in the first place was because Reginald had Jon McAdams taken out. Reginald vehemently denied that accusation but Udy was seen hiding behind Havoc and gleefully said that he was there when Demis Polymeros handed the briefcase full of money to Oliver Harpe to pay him off to take McAdams out. Reginald refuses to admit to anything and laughs that anyone would believe anything Udy says. Havoc formally introduced Reginald to Abholos and told him that Abholos could show everyone the truth of what happened to McAdams. Reginald appeared uncomfortable and nervous as Abholos, showing a vision in a crystal ball of the night of McAdam's attack. The vision showed three hooded men beating down McAdams. It was not clear who the men were, but it was obvious that it was neither Reginald, Demis, nor Oliver Harpe who could be seen showing up directly after the attack. Reginald was angry that he paid Oliver for nothing, but was ultimately proven innocent, which infuriated Havoc. Reginald saw himself out of the Ashes' locker room saying Havoc had no proof and therefore, no leverage and that Havoc's first official title defense would be the next Kingdom. Reginald announced that Havoc would defend against Moongoose McQueen and following the show, Reginald was on the phone with Scott Oasis telling him how well the show went when he noticed rustling in the parking lot. He demanded whoever was there to show themselves. Seconds later, the same three hooded men seeing in Abholos' vision show themselves as the returning Miltiades, Nero and Zaxaria. Miltiades said that they and Reginald had a common enemy and Reginald would be wise to work with them. They then referred to themselves as "The Council".
The next Kingdom, Reginald teamed up with Miltiades to face Oliver Harpe and newcomer Samuel Ogden. Reginald booked the match to get back at Harpe for screwing him out of the 100,000 dollars he paid Harpe. Neither team worked well together, merely coexisting due to necessity, but it looked like Ogden was about to pin Reginald after hitting his finishing move on him. Reginald kicked out at the last second but was unable to get back up on his feet. Ogden looked to make another attack when Harpe blind tagged himself in, only to be hit out of nowhere with Miltiades' Blood In The Water finisher. Miltiades threw Dampshaw's body over Harpe, allowing him to score the pinfall victory. After the match, Reginald and Miltiades both seemed impressed by Ogden and Zaxaria and Nero slid a steel chair into the ring and the four men watched as Ogden began brutalizing Harpe with the chair, eventually sending two foot stomps to Harpe's head before Reginald finally called for security. Directly after the match, Cori Simmons interviewed Reginald and Miltiades and asked them to explain their new alliance. Miltiades said that he and The Council are the new guard in his vision of conquering Kingdom and that they have no interest in the faction warfare that was going on on Kingdom. He also said that he and Reginald have similar views of what their vision of the new Kingdom would be and that he would help Dampshaw in bringing about The New Dawn to OWA. Reginald said he sees potential in Miltiades as a wrestler and a leader and if an alliance is needed to bring about change, then so be it. Later on in the night, the team of Shea Flaherty and Elijah Hampton were seen in Reginald's office arguing over who was the more impressive singles wrestler. Reginald agreed and due to the Openweight Championship needing to be vacated due to injury of The Vincent earlier in the night, Reginald booked the two men in a match where whoever came out on top would receive an Openweight Championship title shot. Shaker Jones then scurried in and asked for a championship shot, but was thrown out of the room by Demis in Shaker's final OWA appearance.
On the Halloween episode of Kingdom, Reginald and Demis out to watch the singles match between Oliver Harpe and Samuel Ogden. Both men were impressive but ultimately, Ogden got the win which made Reginald very happy, who could be seen very visibly clapping and applauding Ogden for his win. Harpe rolled out of the ring after the match and got in Reginald's face, threatening Reginald to punch him in the mouth. Reginald looked like he was going to begin beating Harpe, but he merely kicked him in the groin. Demis then threw him head first into the steel steps, busting him open. The next Kingdom, the annual God of War tournament, which would culminate at Civil War, began and in the first round, Reginald faced Frontline's Theodor Pavel, a wrestler Reginald was very impressed with, but was disappointed that he simply went to Frontline and got involved in the faction warfare. Both men were equally ferocious in their attacks, Reginald being able to dish out just as much powerful attacks as the MMA striker. Out of nowhere in the middle of the match, a purple mist covered the arena, and The Ashes of The Wake could be seen climbing up to the ring apron. Theodor was the first to attack, but was planted down with Abholos' His Rage uranage. Reginald tried to even the odds, but was caught by Jacob Knight with a lariat and then his Black Keep neckbreaker. After Theodor's manager Banch Morgan was also attacked, Knight and Maverick held Dampshaw down and kept beating him. Theodor, however, wouldn't stay down even with three baseball shots to the ribs. This incensed Havoc, who then sent a Dead Trigger to Theodor's head with the assist of the baseball bat. After The Ashes were done beating up both competitors, Havoc picked Reginald's head off the mat and told him that Reginald owed him and that he would come to collect. He then dragged Reginald's body onto Theodor's and then left, allowing the referee to count to three, securing Reginald the victory and letting him advance in the God of War Tournament. The semifinals of the tournament pitted Reginald against long time rival Arata Asakura and much like all of their encounters, both men looked equally capable putting the other away, and the crowd came to their feet for their encounter, but ultimately, once again, Arata defeated Reginald, eliminating him from the tournament. After the main event of Abholos and Maelstrom, which saw The Ashes, SHIN-SEKAI, Frontline and Wolvesden all get involved, Cori Simmons interviewed Scott Oasis, along with Reginald and The Council on what he planned on doing about the tension between all of the factions which now seems to have reached a breaking point. On Twitter weeks before, Oasis teased something called The Great War, but he now announced what it was going to be: a 7-on-7 match pitting all four factions together. It would be The Frontline (Jeff X, Michael Bishop, Arata Asakura, Theodor Pavel and Ryo Sakazaki) and Wolvesden (Kenny Drake and J.D. Damon) vs. The Ashes of The Wake (Havoc, Maverick, Jacob Knight & Abholos) and SHIN-SEKAI (Moongoose McQueen & Maelstrom). When Cori corrected Oasis and said that only left 6 men on The Ashes and SHIN-SEKAI side, Oasis laughed and said he knew and that was why rounding up the 7th spot would be Reginald. Reginald was shocked and livid and said he didn't want to team with Havoc and The Ashes after everything they've done to him. Miltiades reminded Reginald that he owed Havoc so he should be happy that he could pay his debt. Oasis then explained what The Great War was, which was anything goes battle in a custom constructed battlefield called the Big Oasis Brand Stadium. This 300,000 square foot battlefield was built to hold this unsanctioned match which would include multiple stages with different set ups and weaponry to use. Miltiades would also be in a control room helping to control the action making sure bloodshed and mayhem would occur. He said the only way to win is to incapacitate your opponents so badly that would be no question who wins. When Reginald saw the blueprints, he was shocked and disgusted. He said Oasis would kill the roster, to which Militades said that was the reality of war. The weeks leading up to Civil War, Reginald reaffirmed his reluctance to partake in such a match, saying while he understood the necessity of ending the faction war that caused Kingdom to become fractured, everything was spiralling out of control and that this was too far. The idea of having to help The Ashes of The Wake angered him and questioned why he wasn't being given Demis to team with or why The Council wasn't made to be involved as well. He was offended that he was, instead of being in charge of everything, he was just a cog in the wheel of Oasis and The Council's dirty work. While he hated all of this, he was still a soldier and said he would do everything he could to survive.
Reginald arrived with members of the Ashes and SHIN-SEKAI sans Havoc at the Great War via a moving platform stylized as a wrestling ring. The tension between the members was palpable but Reginald worked with his teammates as requested of him, mostly focusing his attacks on Arata and J.D. Damon. At one point, Reginald hit Kenny Drake over the head with a fire extinguisher and sprayed Wolvesden and Frontline with it. Reginald was taken out for a good deal of the match after Theodor Pavel suplexed him out of a window. After recovering, near the end of the match, Havoc unleashed a bigger, stronger, more powerful Abholos in a form which the other competitors have never seen. He was taller than before and his hands seemed to be made of pure flame. Moongoose was giddy in excitement saying that Havoc brought him out to help his side out, but Havoc said that the only ones surviving were The Ashes. Abholos then snapped his fingers, causing the entire stadium to begin shaking and crumbling. Reginald said in horror that this would kill everyone, Scott Oasis included, but Havoc paid no mind to this and had no sympathy for anyone who may or may not make it out of the stadium. This was the final straw for Reginald who finally decided to turn his back on The Ashes and asked Moongoose if SHIN-SEKAI would fight against them. Moongoose agreed and the match became all of the other competitors versus The Ashes. Once Havoc realized they were outnumbered, he had Abholos perform another seemingly supernatural trick by slicing his own arm. When the blood hit the ground, it became multiple different skull-masked disciples forming a wall around The Ashes. The other competitors tried to find a way of beating these disciples while also being aware of the stadium crumbling around them. Moongoose called on a device, which brought Revy down from a vent with a briefcase holding what he called the Millennium Gauntlet. Moongoose explained that it technically could defeat Abholos, but there were be dire consequences. The men argued who would use the gauntlet, but ultimately, Kenny Drake decided he would be the one to do it. The rest of the men broke off and put the plan in motion, taking out the members of Ashes until Kenny confronted Abholos one on one. Kenny's gauntlet shots continuously hurt Abholos until he sent one last shot into Abholos' chest, destroying his armour. Kenny then pulled a dark crystal out of his chest, defeating him. Kenny collapsed due to exhaustion as an announcement played in the room that an explosion was imminent. Kenny then realized he was led by Abholos into a room filled with explosives and before he could get back up, the explosives went off, killing both Abholos and Kenny. While The Ashes planned this and were long gone, their opponents realized what happened and realized that Kenny put his life on the line to defeat Abholos. The Ashes returned on top of the stadium and Havoc was surprised that one of them had the guts to do what Kenny did and while he and The Ashes conceded, they would all be next. The Ashes then left, leaving the rest of the competitors with the reality of Kenny Drake being dead. Reginald and the members of The Frontline, Wolvesden and SHIN-SEKAI were then declared the winners, being labelled as "The Protectors of The Kingdom". As the men all reflected on what just happened, Reginald declared that the fractured kingdom would be united against The Ashes.
Post Civil War; The Time Lizard Is Gone (December 2020-Present)[]
In the days following The Great War, Reginald expressed on social media a great deal of guilt and remorse for what happened to Kenny. Both Maverick and J.D. Damon mocked him for this, Maverick telling him to grow up and that death was a part of war, while J.D. refused to believe Reginald was remorseful, blaming him for Kenny's death as he is the one running Kingdom. Reginald responded that he could be mad and hurt, but he shouldn't blame him for Kenny's death and the people truly responsible for Kenny dying were Havoc, Miltiades and Scott Oasis. Reginald then sent in a video of him clearing up confusion about his comments and the seemingly opposite tone of his character in Wrestleworld. Reginald explained that seeing Kenny dying changed something in him. He felt sympathy and empathy for the first time that he could remember and this was a truly transformative experience. While he would never be friends with Frontline or Wolvesden, he felt a bond with them after The Great War. As far as Wrestleworld goes, Reginald professed that he genuinely has no memories of performing there anymore and once he touches down at Wrestleworld Capital, it is like a switch goes off and he's no longer in control of himself. The trauma of seeing Kenny die was almost a healing experience for Reginald, as he felt like the last vestiges of The Time Lizard were exorcised out of his body. While that is all well and good, Reginald said, the pure essence of The Time Lizard is now completely unleashed in Wrestleworld.
It was then revealed that the first Kingdom post Civil War would be a Kenny Drake Memorial show and Reginald would be wrestling J.D. for the Spartan Championship. Reginald assured everyone that he didn't book the match just because he could, but because he genuinely believed he deserved another shot. He then talked about how many sleepless nights he had since Civil War, seeing Kenny's lifeless body and hearing his screams. He then told J.D. that while he wouldn't just lie down for him, J.D. could use him as a vessel to release his anger, sadness and grief over Kenny's death. On the episode of Kingdom, Scott Oasis opened the show with every Kingdom wrestler minus The Ashes in attendance. Both J.D. and Kenny spoke about what Kenny meant to them and then Reginald spoke. At first, he was booed by the crowd, but then he explained to J.D. that he knew Reginald better than anyone in the OWA and that he knew when he was lying and scheming and this was not one of those moments. Reginald agreed that he didn't know Kenny as well as the others, but he remembered after winning the Spartan Championship at Hardcore Havoc, Kenny, who also became champion that night, took Reginald aside and they talked about going into 2021 as champions and taking over Kingdom. Obviously, that was not to be and Reginald knowing only he remained from the two greatly affected him. Reginald was then cut off by commotion from ringside only to see that The Ashes were watching from their own private seating. They came closer to ringside and Havoc said that in 2020, they ended Kenny's life and their New Year's Resolution was to finish the rest of the Kingdom roster. Reginald was angered by the intrusion and lack of sympathy by Havoc and declared that the OWA World Championship match that was booked between Havoc and Theodor Pavel would now be No DQ and if any of the men there to pay respects to Kenny wanted to interfere, then so be it. Even if Maverick or Knight wanted to get involved, it would be 15-on-3. Reginald said it was time for Havoc to atone for his sins for Kenny. In Reginald's entrance for this Spartan Championship match, he came out wearing a Kenny Drake T-Shirt and when J.D. came out, he took offense to this, jumping Reginald directly after the bell and ripping the shirt off of Reginald's back. Reginald realized that J.D. wasn't going to make the match easy so Reginald decided to pull out all the stops. J.D. hit the Damon's Revenge but Reginald instantly popped up and hit the Queen's Rebuke on J.D. Both men hit signature moves on each other and both looked like they could equally score the win, but J.D. locked Reginald into the Lovecraftian Nightmare, Kenny's submission move, causing Reginald to tap out and retain his championship. Later on in the night, Miltiades walked into Reginald's office and remarked how disappointed he was in Reginald for submitting to Damon. Miltiades said maybe he was wrong in saying the two of them were alike and Reginald agreed. Reginald said he realized he no longer wanted to bring society back to the time of the gladiators where men fought with no intelligence, sophistication or class. He then promised that he would enter Season 4 as a champion and if not, he would admit that Miltiades was right in saying that Reginald was no good and that he would retire as a wrestler and stay simply as General Manager.
A few days later, Reginald posted a picture of hair on the ground on social media, saying that getting rid of old wounds is therapeutic, insinuating that he cut his hair. Indeed, when the Clash participants were announced and a match was made of Reginald and Jeff X teaming up against The Council's Zaxaria and Nero, Reginald appeared with a new look. He said he felt like a different man and was starting to feel like his old self again. Demis expressed concern over what this meant for The New Dawn, but Reginald assured him that The New Dawn was fine and that Reginald has bled and cried for them. Demis corrected himself saying that he was confused as Reginald always demanded violence and ruthlessness for The New Dawn. Reginald put his hand on Demis' shoulder, something he never did, and told Demis the same thing he told Miltiades, that he realized The New Dawn were viewed the same way as The Ashes and The Council and that while the brutality and viciousness would still be there, he wanted them to be more tactful and aware of their actions. Surprisingly, Jeff and Reginald worked well as a team during their match, swiftly defeating The Council. After the match, Jeff offered his hand to Reginald as a sign of solidarity. Reginald thought for a second, but then shook Jeff's hand, much to the delight of the crowd. Once Jeff went to walk away, however, Reginald held on, only to drop Jeff with a DDT. Reginald laughed and told Jeff not to take it personal, as in the Clash it was every man for himself.
On the Atlantis before Clash of The Titans, Reginald filmed a video at the famous Ryde Pier in his hometown. He talked about how his entire life growing up, he never actually spent time in Ryde, simply isolating himself in his estate. He said he was taught by his family that the common people were below him and that was all well and good, but isolation has its effects. It didn't take long being alone in a giant mansion before Reginald started seeing and hearing things that weren't there and the one place he felt most safe was the place where his mental problems truly started. Reginald said The Great War changed him and he finally saw that the people who blamed him for Kenny Drake dying were right and now he saw that The Clash was his way of making things right. The OWA World Championship at Clash of The Titans would be fought over by Havoc and Miltiades and Reginald felt this was poetic as whoever won would be going onto Final Destination 3 and the winner of The Clash, if won by a member of Kingdom, would go on to face them. Reginald said that this gave him a new purpose and while he would love to take the championship away from Havoc, he would find equal joy in defeating Miltiades, especially since he told Miltiades that he would be a champion going into Season Four or else. Reginald then spoke about how The Clash has held bad memories for him. The first one, he was eliminated with no fanfare or attention and was so upset by Aria Jaxon winning it that he manifested a story of his ancestor being eliminated instead of him. The 2020 Clash, Reginald had the most momentum he ever had, going into it as the Spartan Champion and entered the match at number 29. He felt it was his time, only to be eliminated by Havoc. Reginald said it's almost funny to look back now, but maybe he should have saw that as a sign that he and Havoc would be intertwined down the road. Reginald reflected that that elimination was the beginning of his career spiral. He then wasn't featured at Final Destination 2, only in a losing effort on the Atlantis pre-show against Finnegan Wakefield. Reginald couldn't help but feel a sense of need to purge Kingdom of The Ashes and The Council and hold the OWA World Championship back into the light.
At the Clash, Reginald entered in at number 19, attacking Noah Reigner and then calling on aid from Jeff X to help him rid the ring of Olympus competitors, but Jeff ignored him. Ryo Sakazaki and Arata Asakura then got involved by hitting Reginald with their finishing moves. Reginald was able to recovered and was able to eliminate Chad Kennedy, a surprise entrant from Wrestleworld. Reginald once again asked for Jeff's help in the match, as he was being triple teamed by Mark Michaels, Eon Blue and Noah Quinn of The Awakening. Jeff was busy attacking members of The Corsairs and Reginald said this would be a perfect time to even the odds for Kingdom. Reginald and Jeff were backed into a corner and Reginald offered his hand to Jeff, much like Jeff did on the Clash go-home show, but Jeff swatted Dampshaw's hand away, hitting him with the X-Crusher and then eliminated Reginald from the match. After the match was over and Darkane was announced the winner, Reginald was found sitting down on the floor in the backstage area. Once he had time to cool down, he said he understood why Jeff and the rest of The Frontline members didn't trust him and want to attack him but posited to Jeff that none of the other Frontline members offered to help him, but Reginald did. He said he and Jeff could have eliminated The Awakening and The Corsairs and then squared up and see who the better man was, and to give Kingdom a fighting chance, but now an Olympus person had a guaranteed shot at FD3. Reginald said he needed the win and this is usually where he would do everything in his power to make sure Jeff X suffered greatly for eliminating him, but now he just wants to know why Jeff couldn't just trust him for a little while. Reginald then ended his comments saying if he has to start from the very bottom to earn his fellow Kingdom wrestlers' trusts, then so be it.
Wrestleworld (May 2020-Present)[]
Reginald made his surprise debut at Wrestleworld Chapter 13: World Wars, attacking Arata Asakura, Raoul and AJ Jenkyx. While he didn't speak, it seemed as if Dampshaw attacked Arata as revenge for taking his Spartan Championship, picking up Arata's Shogun Championship belt before throwing it down at him. Reginald made his Wrestleworld in ring debut at Chapter 14: Kings and Queens in a triple threat match against Raoul and AJ Jenkyx. Reginald was dominant throughout and after throwing Jenkyx out of the ring, he locked Raoul in the Cracking The Throne, causing Raoul to tap out. Reginald's next match in Wrestleworld took place at Chapter 15: Deals With Devils where he was in a Trios match teaming with AJ Jenkyx and Jacob Senn against Arata Asakura, Raoul and Kanaida Sharpe. The match ended when Senn threw the Shogun Championship into the ring while the referee was distracted. Reginald picked it up and went to smash Arata in the face with it but Raoul threw Arata out and took the title to the face instead. Reginald then hit Raoul with the Family Name to secure the win.
At Kingdom Come, Reginald looked vicious, even suplexing Arata into tables at one point. The match itself gave both competitors an outlet to unleash every ounce of emotion and hatred for one another as Dampshaw looked to finally put down Asakura and take everything away from him while Asakura sought to prove he's still the best in Wrestleworld, the rightful Shogun Champion, and that he can once more defeat Dampshaw. In the end, despite being bloodied and injured, Asakura was able to put Dampshaw away once and for all by relying on his Touch of Gold submission that led to the pass out submission victory.
Reginald made his debut on Dominion during Episode 7 in a tag match with Jacob Senn (who cashed in his Emerald Briefcase after Reginald and Arata's match to become the new Shogun Champion) against Raoul and Arata's trainee Hana Nakajima. Dampshaw was dominant in the match, but didn't seem interested in tagging Senn. Both men argued with each other and eventually, Reginald acquiesced as he saw Arata coming down the ramp. Reginald went up the ramp to go after Asakura, but in his absence, Raoul and Nakajima were able to defeat Senn. On Chapter 16, opening the show was Bobby Bishop speaking to Jaydayne Pendragon who announced that due to Reginald's actions to Arata after Kingdom Come and on Dominion, he would not only be banished from the Heaven's Arena that night, but also be no longer receiving any shots at the Shogun Championship. During Jacob Senn's Shogun Championship coronation, Raoul helped Arata come out on crutches to confront Senn. During their physical confrontation, Reginald burst through the crowd and went to attack Arata with a lead pipe, only for Raoul to jump in the way and get hid in the head with the pipe. Because of Reginald being banned but still getting involved with the Shogun Championship situation, the next Chapter, both Jaydayne and Wrestleworld Director Jaywalker talked about what to do with Reginald. Jaywalker suggested firing him, but Jaydayne didn't want to act that rashly. Arata entered the room and said while he had his mind on other matters, he would be happy to deal with Reginald once his responsibilities elsewhere were finished. Raoul then walked in and said because Arata was booked to fight Senn for the Shogun Championship at Dreamworld, he wanted Reginald one on one at the PPV. Both Jaywalker and Jaydayne thought it was a bad idea, but Raoul insisted, so Jaydayne agreed. Later on in the night, Reginald looked for revenge for the loss on Dominion by facing Hana Nakajima one on one. Reginald was surprised by Hana's resilience and she showed a more aggressive side than most were used to seeing, but Reginald still came out on top, locking her in the Cracking The Throne. Raoul ran in the ring after Reginald refused to break the hold, but Reginald simply threw Hana's lifeless body at Raoul and then attacked him with a European Uppercut and then a Golden Buster before Arata came down to help both of them. Reginald left the ring, smiling in victory. At Chapter 18, Jaydayne held a double contract signing for Dreamworld, one for Arata vs. Senn for the Shogun Championship and the other Reginald vs. Raoul. Not surprisingly, the signing soon turned to chaos as Senn attacked Arata and Reginald attacked Raoul. Reginald dropped Raoul with a Golden Buster into the table that was set up in the ring, but shockingly, Raoul got to his feet. Even after a second buster, Raoul still was seen moving which infuriated Reginald, but by that time, security got involved to break things up.
At Dreamworld, Reginald vs. Raoul was the opening match of Week 1. It was a completely one-sided affair, with Raoul only getting a few hints of offense in. Raoul came to the match with a burlap sack, but had no opportunity to use it. Reginald hit all of his major moves on Raoul before sealing the deal with The Family Name for the win. After the match, Raoul told the referee that he couldn't feel his arms and demanded to be put on a stretcher. Reginald watched on as Raoul was carted out and put in an ambulance. Though happy at his quick work, Reginald never wanted the match in the first place and was still angered that he never received his Shogun Championship rematch. Later on in the night, Reginald was seen backstage angrily looking for Arata. Reginald said that now that he got rid of Raoul, he was coming after him, but he was instead confronted by Jaydayne and a large team of security. Jaydayne said he refused Reginald to get involved with the Shogun match and was going to have security escort him out of the arena. Reginald went along with security, but told Jaydayne that he would eventually get his hands on Arata and whoever left Dreamworld the Shogun Champion.
Rebellion Pro (2019-2020)[]
Reginald was announced to have signed a contract with independent promotion Rebellion Pro, which runs out of England. Wanting to return to his home country, Reginald felt that he had lost his grip on his old stomping grounds.
At Volume 65: A Short Walk Into The Great Unknown on June 7th, 2019, Reginald made his surprise debut when he was the mystery partner for Adelmar Sauer against The Skull Kids. Adelmar and Reginald eventually won the match after Reginald hit The Family Name on Skull Kid #2 and covered him for the pin. Reginald was soon added on Rebellion Pro's tour of New Zealand, Australia, New York and Boston. On the July 8th show in Boston, Reginald helped Adelmar regain the Manchester Championship when Reginald hit former champion Aaron Gresham in the head with a chair when the referee was distracted. At The Moloko Plus Championship Tournament, Reginald came to ringside to get a closer look at the Ethan Giles vs. Aaron Gresham match. It was obvious that Reginald was out there to distract Gresham after their encounter in Boston, and it was exactly what happened. Gresham took his eyes off Giles and was rolled up for the pin. Regardless of this, Reginald and Giles were booked for a singles match for Volume 67. This would be Reginald's debut match in Rebellion and he came out as the victor. After the match, Aaron Gresham tried to attack Reginald, but Adelmar and Osmond Bailey made the save. Reginald and Adelmar would resume their tag team from OWA in Rebellion as they teamed up at Volume 68 against Ethan Giles and Honey Smith, otherwise known as Sweet As Honey. Adelmar and Reginald won the match and though Sweet As Honey were the Tag Team Champions, it was a non title match so Adelmar and Reginald didn't leave with gold, but with a precedent set that they could beat the championship whenever and wherever. It was then announced that at Volume 70: Untitled, a double championship match would take place. It would be a ladder match for the Manchester Championship & New Atlantic Tag Team Championship. Tag champions Sweet As Honey and Manchester Champion Aaron Gresham vs. Adelmar, Reginald and Osmond Bradley with both championships on the line. Before that, at Volume 69, Adelmar and Reginald spoke for the first time together in Rebellion and officially announced themselves as The New Dawn, reiterating their bond. Reginald said that they don't care about Osmond and their focus is solely on the New Atlantic Tag Championships. Winning the titles would bring the first truly great champions in Rebellion Pro. At the end of the match, Reginald was able to powerbomb Honey off the ladder to the floor below while Osmond grabbed the three belts, allowing Reginald and Adelmar to become the 8th New Atlantic Tag Team Champions.
New Atlantic Tag Team Champions (September 2019-February 2020)[]
As happy as The New Dawn was to become new champions, their joy was short lived as their next match at Volume 71 was a losing effort to Arabella Townsend and Sweet As Honey. They were teamed up with Precious Pepper Vain, who was the one who was pinned. After the match, Reginald was furious and threatened Rebellion management to never team him and Adelmar up with a woman again, as her weak gender was the reason for their loss. Reginald's next outing was at the Rebellion Rumble at Volume 72. The rumble was to declare the next Rebellion Championship as it was vacated after Cosmo Cooper retired. Reginald entered 4th in the Rumble and looked impressive but he was the 2nd man eliminated. Reginald had little time to focus on the loss as he was to take part in two matches: 3 Ring Barney and The New Dawn vs. Dai Davies, Rosaline Davies & Two And A Half Fuzz at Volume 73 and Sweet As Honey vs. The New Dawn for the New Atlantic Tag Team Championship. At Volume 73, Luna Baby of 3 Ring Barney was pinned by Two And A Half Fuzz's Neal Durden. Once again, Reginald was furious at being paired with a female and swore to take his anger and frustrations out specifically on Honey Smith at Volume 74. True to his word, Reginald was more vicious to Honey than he had been to anyone before in Rebellion and after The Family Name, Reginald pinned her to secure The New Dawn's 1st championship defense. Reginald's next appearance in Rebellion was in December in a singles match against Neal Durden at Volume 76. Reginald didn't forget Neal's cockiness after he won the 6 man tag match at Volume 73 so he was relishing shoving the arrogance down his throat. Reginald used all of his brutal tricks on Durden, but his anger got the better of him as Durden slipped out of a running powerbomb and after an enziguri, Reginald was hit with his patented shooting star press The Starlight for the pin. While it was not officially announced, as mentioned on the REBELLION Newswire, it looks as though Two And A Half Fuzz would be the next challengers for the New Atlantic Tag Team Championships against The New Dawn at Volume 79 in January. At Volume 79, The New Dawn defeated Two And A Half Fuzz to make their 2nd championship defence.
At Volume 80, Rebellion Pro was announced to be closing. Reginald and Adelmar then left Rebellion still champions.
Personal Information[]
Dampshaw was born in Ryde, Isle of Wight, England on April 25th, 1990. His family is known throughout England for their Dampshaw Jewellery Co., one of the most successful jewellery companies in the entire world. Because of Reginald's upbringing in a rich, aristocratic family, he is extremely arrogant, snobbish and disrespectful to anyone he deems lower than him. His grandfather and father are both also named Reginald Dampshaw, hence the moniker of III.
While Reginald was in Broadmoor, he was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Sociopathy and Dissociative Identity Disorder. They had begun testing Reginald for Schizoaffective Disorder, but were unable to properly evaluate him before he was released.
